The owner of this property at Woodfield Plantation wanted to create a large double garage, convert the existing integral garage to a study, and a sun-lounge to the rear. When considering a conservatory, great care should be taken in relation to its aspect. A south facing conservatory can get extremely hot in summer unless basic precautions are taken to prevent overheating. In some cases it may be more prudent to build a sun-lounge with a tiled roof.
